Love in Zion

Led by the Holy Spirit, to witness and glorify God’s tabernacle on earth.
(Psalm 132:13)

Zion is the name of a hill in Jerusalem, the holy city of God (Ps 2:6; 48:2). Mount Zion has been anointed by God the Father as a holy mountain: "For the Lord has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His dwelling place: This is My resting place forever; Here I will dwell, for I have desired it." (Ps. 132:13-14). The first Temple of God was built there by Solomon. God chose Jerusalem, which had been trampled on by men, to be the holy city to bring out the salvation of God (Psalm 14:7) and to bring fallen mankind to our eternal home in Christ - the glorious New Jerusalem, the Holy City of Zion. Salvation begins and ends in Zion, and the New Jerusalem is the ultimate consummation of God’s divine work.

The earth is a shadow of heaven. The Bible makes it clear that the earthly Jerusalem, Mount Zion, is only a shadow, pointing to the spiritual Kingdom of God - the city of the living God, the heavenly New Jerusalem. The Bible describes the holiness of the Mountain Zion:

You have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel. (Heb. 12:22-24).

Just as the Garden of Eden is God's eternal paradise on earth, where heaven and earth meet, so God's spiritual kingdom on earth is centred on Heavenly Mount Zion, and on top of it is the City of God - New Jerusalem (Ps. 87:1-2). It is the dwelling place of The Lord Most High with His people, and it is God’s tabernacle on earth that will come down from heaven after God's final judgement (Rev. 21:1-3).

With the Lord Jesus as the chief cornerstone of the Temple of God in Zion (1 Pet. 2:6), we are living stones, built up by God the Father into the spiritual temple of God in Christ through the salvation of Jesus Christ (I Pet. 2:4-6; Eph. 2:19-22). This City of the living God is the Holy of Holies, the seat of God's glory (Jer. 17:12). It is not the visible, touchable, demolishable Zion, but His spiritual Temple of Zion in eternity; that is, the children of God, redeemed and sanctified by the blood of Jesus, the glorious Bride of Christthe Holy City, New Jerusalem (Rev. 14:1; 21:2, 9-10) (See The Tabernacle of God and New Heaven and New Earth).

Led by the Holy Spirit, Love in Zion is dedicated to serving God's family, ascending the holy mountain of God and building with the Lord, His spiritual Holy City of Zion - the New Jerusalem - in preparation for the return of the Lord Jesus.

Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” (1 Cor. 3:16)

Wherever God's children are and go, there is God's house! Let us climb the mountain of God the Father together. In the Mount of the Lord it shall be provided (Gen. 22:14). Together, we will witness and build God's Tabernacle on Earth!

Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it.”(Isa. 2:2).
