The Word of God
The Testimony of Jesus

There are no accidents or coincidences with God the Father. God, the Author and the Finisher, is not only the Lord of human history, but He also speaks through history. "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God” (2 Tim. 3:16-17), and it is about the history of God’s covenants and salvation with His people on earth.

The Bible is the testimony of Jesus Christ (John 5:39). The Old Testament contains numerous prophecies about Jesus Christ. These were written at least 400-1500 years before Jesus was born. All of these prophecies point to two things: the Salvation of Jesus' first coming and the Judgement of His Second Coming. Revelation chapter 19 states, "For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” (Rev. 19:10). All the prophecies made by the prophets were fulfilled one by one accurately after the coming of the Lord Jesus (Luke 24:44-45). Only the last prophecies concerning the last days will be fulfilled when Jesus returns. As God told us through the prophet Isaiah over 2,700 years ago.

“Remember the former things of old, for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure, ‘calling a bird of prey from the east, the man who executes My counsel, from a far country. Indeed I have spoken it; I will also bring it to pass. I have purposed it; I will also do it.”(Isa. 46:9-11)

Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them.” (Isa. 42:9)

死海古卷-以赛亚书

In 1947, shepherds searching for lost sheep unexpectedly discovered hand-written Hebrew scriptures on sheepskin hidden in the Qumran Cave by the Dead Sea more than 2,000 years ago. They were all copied before the birth of Jesus, and contained the entire Old Testament except the Book of Esther. This has been describe as the greatest archaeological discovery of the modern era. The Dead Sea Scrolls contain the most complete preservation of the Book of Isaiah”. Written more than 700 years before Jesus was born, Isaiah accurately prophesied the birth (Isa 7:14; 9:6), ministry (Isa. 61:1), crucifixion (Isa. 53:6-9), redemption (Isa. 53:10), and resurrection (Isa. 53:11) of Jesus Christ. It also foretold the return of the Lord Jesus (Isa. 64:1-3), the battle of Armageddon (Isa. 24:21-23), the Last Judgment (Isa. 26:20-21), the Restoration of Israel (Isa. 2:2-3), the New Heavens and the New Earth (Isa. 65:17-19,25), and other eschatological events, which are called the "Gospels of the Old Testament".

Likewise, the prophet Zechariah also accurately prophesied in the “Book of Zechariah” more than 500 years before Jesus was born. He foretold that the Lord Jesus would come to the world humbly as the Son of Man (Zech. 9:9), be sold for 30 pieces of silver (Zech. 11:10-12), and be crucified for the sinners (Zech. 12:10). He also foretold that the Lord Jesus would return in glory as King to judge (Zech. 14:4,6-8), build the Temple (Zech. 6:12-13), restore Israel (Zech. 8:13), judge of the nations (Zech. 12:1-3,9), and establish the Millennial Kingdom (Zech. 14:9). The Book of Zechariah is called the “Revelation of the Old Testament".

All these Old Testament prophecies, written more than 2000 years ago, were fulfilled one by one after the Lord Jesus came into the world. They are completely consistent with the Book of Revelation, which the Apostle John received in vision concerning the end times. The discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls proved the accuracy of the Bible and the authenticity of the historical events it foretold. The Lord Jesus lived on earth for about 33 years, and countless archaeological discoveries and historical events have confirmed what is recorded in the Bible (Luke 24:44-47), bringing the Bible to life!

Moses foreshadowed Jesus

Just as the Gregorian calendar used today is divided into BC/AD with the birth of Jesus as the dividing line, so the Bible is also divided into the Old Testament and the New Testament by the birth of Jesus. The Old Testament foreshadows the New Testament, and all the events of the Old Testament point to the New Covenant established by the Lord Jesus Christ and His Salvation on the Cross. For example, God’s calling of Moses to deliver His people from Egyptian slavery foreshadowed Jesus’ salvation to deliver mankind from the slavery of sin (Heb. 3:5-6).

The seven feasts that God ordained through Moses’ footsteps are the timetable of God’s plan of salvation (See Covenant of Love). Each feast foreshadowed and pointed directly to God’s salvation that Jesus came to fulfil, as shown below. The first four feasts fulfilled by Jesus’ first coming, and the last three will be fulfilled by Jesus’ second coming. By then, the whole creation, including the whole family of Israel, will be saved and united as ONE in Jesus Christ (Rom. 8:21; Eph. 1:10), and humanity will be fully restored to God (See New Creation in Christ).
